Very tasty! This place is great... Good drinks, good food, the people that work here always cool. And it's always lively and full of people being happy. Just what I need haha

Staff is very nice and friendly. Place looks nice. Food is ok. Some of the dishes were not seasoned properly and were too bland. Meat was not cooked too well. Enchilada were decent and had more flavor then the other dishes.

Such a great family restaurant and great Mexican cuisine.

A typical american mexican food place. Staff was friendly and food was fantastic. Would def come back! Got the chimichangas. Friend got the cali burrito and that was amazing and HUGE! Everything was great and has a kids menu also.

This is our favorite Mexican Restaurant. Food is consistently good and always hot and fresh. Friendly servers, who take great pride and care of customers.

Nice atmosphere, waiter came right to the table. Still sad about the sweet tea thing but not letting that affect my rating since it seems to be a common thing. Chips and salsa were good, nothing to go crazy over. Our food came out hot and fast. My husband is in the hotel right now enjoying MY leftovers. He loved his tamale. He had the trip fajitas, and I had a combination platter. Everything was so good. I was so full and didn't even order churros for dessert, I'm so sad about that. The bathroom was clean, smelt good and the music was blasting, so honestly if you were like literally blowing it up noone would no( can't get any more honest then that)

I live in this area and we eat here all the time! Absolutely love their food, I’ve never had a meal I didn’t enjoy. The service can be slow at times but honestly if the food and drinks are good I don’t mind. Would really go if your in a hurry. Still my go to!

Love the new outside dinning, same great food and fantastic service, with mask worn by staff. Tables spaced out, very nice. Thank you.

Never a disappointment. Whenever I have a craving for some authentic Mexican cuisine, I know my craving will be satisfied with whatever I order.

Food quality is not consistent. My last fajitas del mar was over cooked and tasteless. Won't be back for a while.

My favorite Mexican restaurant period! If I am in Maryland I'll drive hours to get to this place. Very comfortable atmosphere. Service is always above and beyond what you expect. Drinks are made to perfection and also poured heavy on the liquor. You definitely get your money's worth that's for sure. Food is very authentic and always flavorful. Huge variety to choose from. I've never ordered anything that hasn't came out amazing.

the food was fantastic... the waiter was nice and spoke both languages to us english and spanish. we ordered some drinks and they were good. the food was sizzling hot and the woman i was with really did love it. the restroom was very clean. every staff members had a smile on their faces. it feels like a family gathering. everyone was having a good time... I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes authentic Mexican food...

We were there for breakfast. While it's a great spot for lunch/dinner, I don't think I'll do breakfast there again.It wasn't bad but it was just okay.

Been here several times. Always a good experience. Their offerings are quite good. Located next to the Baltimore Washington International Airport. Recommended.

If going to airport or coming from this place is ready to get to and from. If you live in that area it is easy to get in and out of parking lot.The food is good.Service is good.

Great Mexican food near BWI airport. Nicely decorated inside. Friendly and attentive staff. A long selection of dishes that both look and taste great. It's worth finding this place since it is a bit out of the way in an industrial park area near the airport.

I had the Carnitas dinner. It was amazing! Crispy and flavorful pork. I also order chips, salsa and guacamole. All great.

It was nothing to write home about. Or here, for that matter. Would be better if the chef used more seasonings. Was a packed Los Portales burrito, but the steak should have marinated in something first. My wife did not care for the number 4. Not did I care for the #2 she had afterwards... :)

We often stop here on flights leaving from BWI airport. They have a wide selection of Mexican food with vegetarian options. The salsa is just the right amount of heat.

Ordered takeout and I’m sorry but the food was horrible. Was not fresh at all. Horrible aftertaste I almost vomited. If you prefer fresh food and not hungover food...don’t eat here. Taco Bell tastes better!

Very good Mexican restaurant at a good price range.

This food is top notch, the queso is worth it, order it! The enchiladas combo is my favorite and those margaritas are good and strong.

Best Mexican food around. In my opinion. Also has 3 other locals in Anne Arundel each are amazing. Jumbo Frozen with Salt is the drink order and good ya can’t go wrong with.

Burrito was incredible, all food reasonably priced. Forget Chipotle and support this local business

It was busy on a Monday night on my recent visit, but seated after a short wait. Fajitas were hot fresh and tasty, about standard time out of the kitchen which was of note since my companion needed to catch a flight. This is a great place to spend some time and share a meal before dropping someone off at BWI.

I have had Mexican food in California and in Mexico and they are spot on for authentic Mexican food.

Been coming here for years. Great food, service & atmosphere. & they let adults order off kids menu - the portions sizes are great.

I used to go to Los Portales for lunch when I worked nearby. It was delicious. Recently we went on and evening and we were less than impressed. The service took a while and the food seemed unseasoned. We described one dish as sloppy joes in a tortilla. We probably won't go back any time soon since we know of better Mexican around.

Been going to this place for many years. Staff are great, atmosphere is very pleasant and most importantly, the food is freaking phenomenal. Literally anything on the menu is good. Very consistent with the quality and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend

This place has the best authentic mexican food. Everything I've had has been great. Plus the servers are nice and incredibly knowledgeable. Its just a great experience all around.

I've made this my go to Mexican food place. Prices are fair, portions are plenty and the taste is next level. The margaritas are strong but still taste excellent. And the staff is efficient and nice. I've had the pleasure of having Wilfred as my waiter a couple of times. He is an all star. Helped me through the menu and was always attentive. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

I used to go here all the time and loved the food. This past weekend however shocked me. I ordered the Tortilla soup and got a cup of broth with tortilla strips, sour cream and 2 small chucks of fresh avocado. The broth was really greasy.Next came the Grande Nachos which looked like a deconstructed ground beef taco. I should have asked them to take it back as well. Nachos no peppers, hardly any cheese, nothing but a half of slice of tomato some shredded lettuce and taco meat sour cream was not fresh and Guacamole. Taco Bell does better than this!

Usually a 5 rating but not this time! My friend and I ordered pick up tortilla bowl salads. We have been ordering these for years from them (both as pick up and in house dining before covid). This time the salad shells were soggy with so much liquid in the bottom of the pan that i had to soak it up with multiple paper towels. I usually save half to eat another day but they are ruined. Very disappointed this time.

Went on a Tuesday night. The quality and quantity of the food for the price is very good. From talking with a regular at the bar, it was a busy night. You sometimes need to flag someone down to get you something. Overall good, and will come back.

This is a very great place to eat when you want some fresh Mexican food! The service is good, they always asked me if I was ok or needed anything. The food was hot, the drinks were made perfect. The place is clean and they are taking great precautions even with the circumstances of Covid going on.

Just did carryout due to Covid rules, but food was ready on time and a good price for the amount of food. Got the Portales Special, which was good but could use a little seasoning, which is why 4 stars and not 5. Will certainly go again though.

This restaurant is always on my "places to eat at" list when I'm visiting the area. Plentiful portions and delicious salsa and chips - friendly service too. They make you feel like you're family!
